Highgate Property

This is an extensive whole house renovation in Highgate North London. Working with closely with the architects with great foresight I was brought in on the house renovation project at a very early stage which was a wise decision as it required the installation of two electrical supplies for the large 5m  x 9m uneven pair of curtains. This would not have been possible if I had been called at a later stage. A section of the mezzanine was removed to allow the curtain to be fitted optimally. One of the many benefits of working with architects.

Belgian linen, including from de le Cuona, was used extensively throughout this project.

Chelsea Harbour Showroom

This showroom belongs to Eggersmann Design in Chelsea Harbour Design Centre in South West London. I was required to make two layers of curtains for each of the eight large windows. Unlined main curtains and sheers. Working to the design of interior stylist Alex Kristal and in tandem with Crestron who supplied the motorised track as part of the fully integrated AV system.

Canonbury Property

These windows were for children's bedrooms in a whole house renovation in Islington, Central London. Sensitivity to the historic nature of this listed building has to be taken into account and the slanted shape of the walls made the necessity of blackout in these rooms a challenge to achieve. The client landed on the idea of putting curtain poles toward the bottom of the curtain to hold them back to the walls while the curtains hung from painted lath and fascias which minimised light bleeding over the top.

We also supplied the jolly custom made bed canopy with tassel pom poms. The whole thing was suspended from the ceiling using a Cameron Fuller square track fitted to the ceiling.
